Constructivism – Construtivismo
It’s a theory which considers anyone able to build knowledge once in contact with the object and in interaction with others. Complicated ? We explain !

This means we all are able to learn, once the environment we are in, the school, provides us with the objects of knowledge: the content and information; the time and the possibility of putting the ideas to the test.
“Isto, significa que todos somos capazes de aprender, contanto que o meio onde estamos, a escola, nos proporcione os objetos do conhecimento, o conteúdo e a informação, o tempo e a possibilidade de testar as idéias à respeito.”

We believe in a humanized type school which forms citizens and help them reflect upon the reality around us so they make a difference out there in the world. We believe in a school that respects and values individual remarks, a school that thinks about the students’ global foundation and also believes and encourage creativity.

Partners of the constructivism, interactionism and socioemotional learning, we believe in teacher-student relations and in the building of knowledge through discoveries and problematizations of situations in order to generate new acquired knowledge. We believe everything we learn must be inserted in a context so it makes sense and it is not forgotten during the year.
